Our clinic is one of the oldest clinics of the Hospital "Sf. Spridon"
Iasi, and is bound to some personalities of the Romanian surgery: Ernest
Juvara, Ion Tanasescu, Vladimir Butureanu, Mircea Chifan.
The First Surgery Clinic contains 2 sections :
- Section A with 75 beds (Dr. E. Târcoveanu, M.D., Professor of
Surgery)
- Section B with 50 beds (Dr. Stefan Georgescu, M.D., Professor of Surgery)
In our clinic work 3 advisor professors, Ph.D. guides (C. Lazar, V.
Strat, C. Plesa), 1active professor, Ph.D. guide, 4 assistant professors,
4 lecturers, 5 tutors.
In the M.S. network work 2 senior doctors. From the 16 doctors of
the Clinic, 15 have attended several overseas stages.
